Privacy Policy
If you send us an enquiry, you are handing personal information to a law firm before you know whether we can act for you. This page explains what happens to it.
It covers this website. It does not cover a matter we have already taken on. Once we act for you, your file is held under the professional confidentiality duties that apply to licensed advocates in the UAE, and those are wider than anything described here.

What we collect
From the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you choose to write in the message box. You decide how much of your situation to put there.
If you email or call instead, we hold the email, and whatever we note from the call.
The site also records technical information in the ordinary course of being a website, such as the address your visit came from, your browser and the pages you opened.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
To answer you. To run the conflict check we have to run before we can act for anyone. To keep a record of what we were asked and what we replied. Where you have asked for it, to send you something you requested.
We do not use an enquiry to build a marketing list.
How long we keep it
An enquiry we do not take on is kept long enough to show that we ran a conflict check, then deleted. A matter we do take on is kept for as long as the rules on client records require.
Who else sees it
Inside the firm, the people who need to. Outside it, the suppliers who keep the site and our email running: the website host, the email provider, the company that supplies the enquiry form, and the network that delivers the site’s pages. They handle your information to provide that service and for nothing else.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. We disclose it otherwise only where a court, a regulator or the law requires it of us.
Some of those suppliers store or route data outside the UAE.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it, and the accounts holding them are protected by passwords and, where the supplier offers it, a second factor.
No website can promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If something does go wrong with information about you, we will tell you.
Cookies
This site uses cookies. Some are needed for it to work at all. Others, where they are present, measure how the site is used.
Your rights over your information
You can ask us what we hold about you and ask for a copy. You can ask us to correct it if it is wrong. You can ask us to delete it. You can object to us using it in a particular way, and you can withdraw consent you have given.
These have limits. Where we are required to keep a record, we cannot delete it simply because you ask. We will say so, and say why.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can take the matter to the UAE authority responsible for personal data protection.
